New Posters Up Tuesday 2pm

OK folks, I've been experiencing a little "weirdness" with my email list program. I had planned on sending a newsletter to our list to announce today's releasze and Umphrey's McGee sale, but I have been unable to access my editing window.

In addition to the 2 new posters, I went through our poster room and pulled out all the extra Umphrey's McGee posters that were pulled for vending or that were kept back as replacements in case copies were damaged in the original release. I've added those copies to our OOAK section. Why? Well, Jeff needs a new camera lens and I'm trying to get him enough funds to get what he needs. Be sure to check the OOAK section.... when we return from Burning Man , anything still left there will be put on eBay in auctions. This is our last release before we head out for our Burning Man trip.... I saved releasing the SCI poster so I could add this loverly UM/YMSB print to it. We've got limited quantity of each, and I'm putting them in the store Tuesday at 2pm EST. I'll start shipping them on Thursday and will continue until all orders have been filled.

Patience, My Precious!

Wow.... when we got new laptops, I knew there was gonna be a little bit of a learning curve as I also needed to update a metric sh#t ton of my software, but I didn't count on more than a couple of weeks!! Since I was using a G4 tower before, I was able to transfer over a lot of stuff, but still am faced with relearning Dreamweaver right now in the middle of a very busy month. This is why some of my updates and packages have been slower than normal. Jeff is experiencing his own problems with updating everything. So now, instead on my jumping back and forth between 2 machines, I'm jumping between 3. Yes, it's confusing.

Despite all of that, I'll be putting the SCI Beacon poster in the web store Tuesday at 2pm EST. I am changing this so I can add another poster to the store as well. Orders will be filled next week with the current orders in the cue going out first.

We're gearing up for our month off starting in August. Orders taken by August 10 will be shipped before we leave. Any taken after that will ship before we leave IF I HAVE TIME. We have a LOT to do - need new windshield in car, getting the car serviced, getting the parental units and the animals taken care of.... and a myriad of other things, including gathering all of our gear together.

We'll have email access while we are away, so if you need to ask anything, we'll get back to you as soon as we get an internet connection along the way. We will not have email access the week we are in the desert.

Look for the newsletter coming at ya shortly!!

Cheers,
Judy

Wowowowowowowowow!

We just got a copy of Jessica Bruder's "Burning Book: A Visual History of Burning Man" in the mail today. I cannot describe what a beautiful job Jessica has done (and any helper bees who assisted!) with the overwhelming amount of information and pictures that make up this tome, but it's a Burner must-have. Or at least I think so. There is so much to look at and read inside.... including a double page spread of the poster Jeff & I took to the Playa to give away last year! Check out the book's web site here and pre-order your copy: www.burningbook.net/index.html

Thanks for making our day, Jessica!! See you in the desert!

Alright, I Think I Have It All.....

.... set to go on the AoMR sale. I do reserve the right to have made mistakes in listings, though I did double-check everything. If I turn up any posters that fit the AoMR sale criteria after the fact, I will list them in the OOAK section with other sale items. Please understand that even though I did my best to go through the flat files and other poster hiding places here, I may have inadvertantly missed one or two. Please do not write me at a later date and accuse me of holding out on you. ;o)

We'll have many more sale items to put up in the next month and possibly a few auction items. I have a huge stack of Scratch and Dent posters just waiting to be sorted and photographed!

All orders taken this evening and throughout the week will be processed in the order they come in. Please be patient as I will be doing all of the processing, pulling, packaging and shipping by myself. I'll put my big girl panties on before I come in tomorrow so I can get a good start on it!

Don't forget.... you can pull up ALL of the AoMR posters by typing aomr into the search engine on the web site. Many of the items newly listed only have 1 or 2 prints available!

AoMR Sale Posters Information

OK, here's the skinny on the sale today..... there were 68 posters listed under Drowning Creek Studio in the AoMR plus the virtual posters for Mtv. Since the Mtv posters were never printed, I'm leaving those off the list altogether. The rest of the prints were either designed or published by Drowning Creek. Jeff and I have decided to completely clean out drawers and shelves and this is but the first of this sort of sale.

Some of the posters on the following list have been "sold out" and unavailable on our web site for some time now, but as the years have accumulated, so have misc. stacks of posters in various places in the studio. Some I pulled to frame, but realize now that I just don't have the time. Some were left over when we sold the edition as replacements for any that got damaged in shipping, but then never got put back into the store because there were only 1 or 2 of them left. Some, I have no idea why they are where they are. Anyway, I am putting the posters that fit these descriptions and that appeared in the AoMR back in the store in the OOAK section. They are what they are, and the prices will not be "cheap" on some of them, but this is officially the last time we will have any of these to sell.

There are some posters that appeared in the AoMR that are still available in the web store. I will discount those in the store for a week and then return them to their regular price or a higher price depending on remaining stock.

I will come back and post a list here of all the posters from the AoMR today. If I post that some are unavailable, please don't write me and ask if I have one "tucked away." Believe me, if I had them, I would put them up for sale with the rest!

The following posters will NOT be available:

DCS_002 Robert Cray/KWS NONE available
DCS_011 311/Incubus NONE available
DCS1_03 Rev Horton NONE available
DCS1_06 The Donnas NONE available
DCS1_14 Black Crows NONE available
DCS1_23 Built to Spill NONE available
DCS1_25 Rollins Band NONE available
DCS1_47 Rat Fink Reunion NONE available
DCS2_028 Willie Nelson NONE available
DCS2_035 Widespread Panic Red Rocks NONE available
DCS2_095 Blink 182/Green Day NONE available
DCS3_050 The Cramps SN NONE available
DCS3_062 White Stripes SN NONE available
DCS3_085 311 NONE available
DCS3_097 String Cheese Incident Atlanta NONE available
DCS3_123 Dave Matthews NONE available

THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!! I will NOT combine shipping on multiple orders. Please get everything in one order so I don't have to play "Clue" on piecing invoices together.

ALSO: To find all posters from the AoMR at once, type "AoMR" into the search engine on the web site. It will pull them all up, both available and unavailable. Some will be in the regular poster section and some in the OOAK section. The above is the only way to pull them all up together.

SCI at the Beacon This Week!!!

Well y'all didn't think Cheese would be touring without there being at least one Drowning Creek poster along the road, huh? Here it is.... it's a richly colored 5 screen design by Jeff and printed by Jeff for the 4 night Beacon run in New York. There are 450 in te edition with close to 400 to be available at the venue during the shows. Check with stringcheeseincident.com for ticket information for these shows... there are still a few tickets available!

A couple of years ago we started printing political propaganda when we had extra room on the paper we were printing posters. Over the last year or so we've had a change of direction with our propaganda... this little mini print embodies that change. Times of peace give way to enlightenment. We "debuted" these at Bonaroo this year, selling out of all of the copies we had with us. Now they will be availble online, too! Check the web store on 7-10-07 to find them!

Ball of Confusion!

Jeff and I are in the process of changing computers. We're trying to do so without losing any emails or anything else important. Give us a week or so to reorganize, but if you have not gotten a response to your email by then, yo might want to drop us another just to make sure we got it!!
