DCS currently creates collectible limited edition art prints, photography and concert & event posters for select clients, as well as, originals and gallery work. The studio is equipped with state-of-the-art computers, screen print, and digital imaging devices as well as good old school easels and paint taborets.
Jeff Wood has been selling his art since he was 14 years of age. Through the years he has collaborated with many other artists. Frequent collaborator Johnny Thief DiDonna, of Seppuku Tattoo, located in Savannah, is a regular contributor on many studio projects. Jeff and Johnny have been extremely close friends for the past 15 years. Their collaboration partnership is quite similar to the collaboration partnership of Mouse & Kelley.
The Studio resides on Jeff's farm in the rural south, 10 miles north of Athens, Georgia in the foothills of the Appalachia Mountains. The studio is actually housed in his Father's old slaughterhouse.
The building was built when Jeff was a child and has quite the character. It's haunted. Yes, haunted and, at least on one occasion in the 70's, was the location of a UFO sighting. Strange as it may seem, these oddities have been witnessed by multiple people, interns and visitors. It makes for a unique studio setting.
Jeff has been trying to correct the karma of the place, but as of of yet, the building is being uncooperative.
